ECON 1113 — Economics of Social and Contemporary Issues

Basic economic principles introduced and developed through study of important social and contemporary issues: for example, inflation, unemployment, poverty, crime, education, healthcare, taxes, social security, debt and deficits, the environment, and government policies and laws. This course is not equivalent to Macroeconomics ECON 2013 or Microeconomics ECON 2023. No general education credit for students taking ECON 2023 or AGEC 1114.
