MLAT 1314 — Phlebotomy, Urinalysis and Body Fluids

The course provides instruction and practice in proper phlebotomy technique during the first four weeks of the course. The remainder of the course is a comprehensive study of macroscopic and microscopic examination of urine and other body fluids. The phlebotomy instruction does not qualify students for national certification as a phlebotomist. Course offered in fall only.
