This course will cover the basic theories of routine clinical chemistry procedures, including instrumentation. Emphasis will be placed on theory, clinical applications, and procedures. A brief review of laboratory mathematics will be included.

Prerequisites: CHEM 1144, CHEM 1215, CHEM 1314
