CURR 100 - First Year Seminar and Syllabus ] CURR 100 - First Year Seminar 1 Credit Hours The First-Year Seminar is a course designed to assist students in developing the basic skills necessary to be successful in college. It is important to discuss the transition to college. The student experience will be examined through self-reflection. Topics covered will include effective study habits, time management, note taking, memory development, and career and academic planning.
