EDET 202 - Utility Line Worker Practice III EDET 202 - Utility Line Worker Practice III 4 Credit Hours Supervised practical applications of electrical overhead line worker job duties in a setting under personal supervision of Pike Corporation personnel. Emphasis on skills required to identify, install, and maintain primary underground residential distribution (URD) equipment, including various methods of troubleshooting URD primary and secondary circuits. This course provides the student with the advanced knowledge and skills necessary to safely work in a supervised capacity for energized equipment and in an unsupervised capacity on de-energized equipment employed in the production and distribution of electrical energy.
