Students will explore the significance of chemistry in hair styling, basic principles, and safety measures associated with electrical equipment, and delve into the realm of chemical texture services and hair coloring. Topics include properties of water, pH, cosmetic preparations, electrotherapy terminology, chemical texture services (such as permanent waves, relaxers, reformations, and texturizers), hair structure, color theory, product identification, application procedures, and safety precautions in hair coloring and lightening processes.
