MECH 220 - Electro-Mechanical II MECH 220 - Electro-Mechanical II 3 Credit Hours This course introduces electrical circuits and works through many industry tasks in Electrical Systems including DC Series Motors, DC Shunt, and Compound Motors, Motors Speed and Torque, Motor Performance, Split-Phase AC Motor, Capacitor-Start AC Motors, Permanent-Capacitor and Two-Capacitor Motors, Three-Phase AC Induction Motors. This course will also review the use of PLCs for material handling and movement, process control systems, workpiece handling, and conveyors. Pre-requisite(s): MECH 160 , MECH 170
