MLTN 220 - Hematology & Hemostasis MLTN 220 - Hematology & Hemostasis 3 Credit Hours This course presents the origin of the various types of blood cells with emphasis on the red and white blood cells. The student will learn about human hematological disorders and classify these based on clinical laboratory findings. Also provides an overview of the coagulation process, disorders, and laboratory evaluations associated with the disorders. A laboratory component is included that emphasizes the morphology and identification of common human blood cells and various procedures used in the hematology and hemostasis departments.
