MLTN 230 - Immunohematology MLTN 230 - Immunohematology 3 Credit Hours Introduces blood grouping and typing, antibody screening and identification compatibility testing. Emphasizes serological and transfusion services procedures used in the laboratory, including the processing, storing and issue of the various blood components for transfusion. Students will also study genetic principles of immunohematology, other blood group systems, adverse complication of transfusions, and hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn. Co-requisite(s): MLTN 232L
