PTHA 230 - Pathophysiology PTHA 230 - Pathophysiology 3 Credit Hours An introductory study of the pathogenesis of cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, neurologic, and pediatric human diseases. Information will be presented at a systems level and includes etiology, prognosis, signs, symptoms and an introduction to possible therapeutic interventions for those conditions as encountered in physical therapy. Students will learn intervention philosophies for providing physical therapy services in the presence of these disease processes and common medical interventions utilized.
