Insurance is an integral part of risk management as it is a financial arrangement for redistributing the costs of unexpected losses. This course is designed to emphasize terminology and basic concepts used in risk management and insurance. Study will include the analysis of various insurance instruments including property, casualty, health, life, disability and liability insurance used to shift and minimize risk.
