HSV - 109 Introduction to Human Services HSV - 109 Introduction to Human Services (3 s.h.) Introduction to Human Services presents an overview of the human services profession, including a historical presentation of the development of the profession. Students will be exposed to various ways to conduct an analysis of human needs (micro level) and related social problems (macro level). The course introduces students to professional values, ethical behavior, theoretical perspectives, and specific methods and skills that have been shown to be effective.
