MAT - 156 Introduction to Statistics MAT - 156 Introduction to Statistics (3 s.h.) This course is intended to introduce students to basic statistical concepts. It covers descriptive and inferential statistical methods, probability, hypothesis testing on the mean and proportion, and linear regression. Students are also introduced to technology as it applies to introductory statistical methods.
