MFG-457 — Injection Mold Making
MFG - 457 Injection Mold Making MFG - 457 Injection Mold Making (7 s.h.) This course introduces the student to the field of mold making for plastic injection molds, blow molds, compression, and transfer molds. Students will develop the necessary basic skills for gating, venting, heating, cooling, stoning, and polishing and other hands-on experiences necessary to manufacture mold plates, cores, cavities, and ejection systems. At the conclusion of the course, students will have constructed a prototype injection mold, demonstrating a comprehensive overview of the mold-making process.
