SOC - 240 Criminology SOC - 240 Criminology (3 s.h) Criminology surveys the history, nature, and causes of crime: analysis of the extent of criminal behavior patterns, investigation, and prosecution; correctional procedures and methods; and the organizational structure of prison systems. Examined in relation to other social problems, criminology explores a survey of crimes: cyber, property, white color, organized, public order, and violent crimes.
