ANI100 — History of Animation
3 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. A survey of the history of animation from the earliest hand-drawn, camera-less film techniques, to experimental animation, to the development of three-dimensional computer animation. Various styles and techniques are explored. The impact and influence of modern computer software and stereoscopic filmmaking is also discussed and analyzed. Open to non-majors.
