ART216 — Visual Arts Seminar

2 Cr. Per Week: 2 Lec. Capstone course for Fine Arts majors. Students will learn about professional portfolio preparation. They will develop their own transfer portfolio using artwork created in NCCC studio courses. They will research transfer programs and art/design-related careers. Topics include selecting, editing, sequencing and presenting works for the portfolio. Students will learn to photograph and document artwork with consideration given to delivery and presentation methods. They will also learn to write artist statements and resumes.
