BIO104 — Bioinformatics Applications

Per Week: 3 Lab This is the second semester of a 2-semester sequence of courses in which students will use the knowledge from the first semester course, BIO 103, and put those principles into practice. The students will use current computer programs to search for, compare, and analyze DNA sequences. They will also use programs to analyze RNA expression profiles and how mutations in nucleic acids affect protein structure and function.
