BIO110 — General Biology II

4 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. This course represents the second semester of a two‑semester study of topics in General Biology. Topics of Mendelian genetics and evolution are presented as first units. Basic knowledge acquired in the first semester and these first units is applied to the comparison of the diverse structural and physiological adaptations of living organisms. Systems of support, movement, control, reproduction, internal transport, gas exchange, waste excretion, and nutrition will be discussed.
