BIO260 — Life On Earth
3 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. This course will introduce students to the history of life on earth, from its earliest beginnings to the dawn of man. Special emphasis will be placed upon the history of the vertebrates. Topics will include the origins of life, continental drift, the earliest plants and animals, the Age of Reptiles, the earliest mammals. Selected topics will also include methods in Paleontology, controversies over dinosaur extinction, and “Hot-Blooded” dinosaurs, the origins of flight and fossils and where to find them.
