CHE234 — Organic Chemistry I

4 Cr. Per Week: 4 Lec. This is the first course in a two-semester sequence of organic chemistry. Topics will include the nomenclature, stereochemistry, reactions, mechanisms, and synthesis of organic compounds. This course is intended for students who plan to become biology, chemistry or related majors upon transfer and for students who intend to apply to health professional programs like medical, dental, or pharmacy schools.
