CIS119 — Introduction to Computer Systems

3 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. This introductory course is required for students matriculated in the Computer Information Systems or Computer Science curricula. It can also be selected by any student interested in learning current hardware and software concepts. Topics include - computer hardware configurations, system and application software, security, ethics and networking. This course also includes a software applications component using Microsoft Excel and Access.
