COM101 — Introduction to Media Communications

3 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. This course provides a foundation for understanding the role of media communication and mass communication in our lives. Students will analyze current trends and issues in media and discuss the impact of technology on communication, relationships, and society. Emphasis will be placed on developing skills in media literacy to become critical consumers of mediated messages.
