COM210 — Intercultural Communication

3 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. This course introduces students to the study and practice of communication among people from diverse cultural backgrounds. The course explores how culture, identity, language, power, and social systems influence communication in personal and professional contexts. Students will develop intercultural competence through the study of foundational principles and theories, self-reflection, and dialogue. Emphasis is placed on developing the skills necessary to communicate effectively in a diverse society.
