CUL240 — Culinary Competition Cooking & Advanced Techniques
3 Cr. Per Week: 1 Lec., 6 Lab This course will provide detailed information on the American Culinary Federation and assist culinary/pastry students in developing a path for future growth in the industry. Upon this journey, students will be introduced to professional certification, strategies for lifetime learning and goal setting. Students will review all varieties of ACF Culinary/Pastry Competition. This course will assist students in organizational skills as well as refining and perfecting basic skills. As the class progresses, students will practice advanced culinary/pastry competition strategies. Each student enrolled in the course will have the opportunity to compete in an ACF style competition.
