DIS107 — Disney Hospitality Management

3 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. The course will explore the concept of competitive advantage in the hospitality industry. Competitive advantage had been defined in terms of the organization itself: core competencies within the organization, the people within the organization, the organizational culture or shared values, and knowledge or learning. This course will show how the people within the organization, our shared values, and broad knowledge of several roles, enhances our company’s competitive advantage. Additionally, through recognition and review of several different roles, students will gain an understanding on how a corporation sustains a total commitment to quality improvement and its impact on guest service.
