DRF279 — Technical Seminar
1 Cr. Per Week: 1 Lec. A series of lectures, discussions and exercises dealing with information and skills that can be used to obtain a position as an entry level drafter. Topics will include: presentation of a resume and cover letter, building a portfolio, interviewing skills and job search techniques, researching a specific company and/or career choice, investigating a transfer institution, networking, and professionalism. These activities are directed toward assisting the student with career employment, transfer information, and current industry practices.
