ECE200 — Early Childhood Education Internship

4 Cr. Per Week: 1 Lec. This course provides students with an opportunity to apply their academic learning in early childhood education with real-life experiences in settings where they will engage with young children, families, and early professionals in the field. Using evidence-based teaching and learning approaches, students will plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally-appropriate practices and culturally-response instruction. A minimum of 135 hours of supervised work in a preschool or child care setting is required. Students who will pursue the Childhood Development Associate (CDA) credential must be employed in a state-approved early childhood education setting.
