ELT157 — Principles PC Operation & Servicing
3 Cr. Per Week: 2.5 Lec., 1.5 Lab In this course, all major components of the PC will be covered as will the interconnection between the operating system and the hardware. Topics include: operating systems, system initialization, semiconductor memory, floppy drives, hard drive fundamentals, microprocessors, bus architecture, and interrupts. The DOS and Windows operating systems are used.
