ELT235 — Instrument & Control Systems

3 Cr. Per Week: 2 Lec. The study of transducers, signal conditioning circuits, and control methods used in industrial instrumentation and control systems. Transducers used for measurement of force, pressure, flow rate, temperature, vibration, displacement, and position are covered. Signal conditioning circuits discussed include amplifiers, voltage to current and current to voltage converters, and 4ma to 20 ma loops.
