ENS110 — Computer Programming for Engineers
4 Cr. Per Week: 4 Lec. This course is intended for 2nd year Engineering Science students as a first course in computer programming that develops foundational concepts using MATLAB with application to engineering problems. Topics include arithmetic expressions, input, output, plotting, branching and loop structures, debugging, and user-defined functions. The course integrates linear algebra and matrix math as tools for solving systems of equations. These concepts will be illustrated and emphasized through engineering applications. To support specific projects, the instructor may introduce various numerical methods as needed.
