HRT272 — Landscape Design I
4 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. This course represents the first semester of a two-semester study of landscape design. The student will experience first-hand the process for residential design by learning and working through the design process steps from site analysis through final design presentation. Class focuses on developing the students’ site assessment skills, drawing technique and visual communication of landscape designs on paper. Landscape design principles, elements, graphics standards and presentation techniques are emphasized. Required field trips to landscape sites will be held during class hours.
