2 Cr. Per Week: 2 Lec. This course examines the interconnected roles of advocacy and ethics in human services practice. Students explore how human service professionals advocate for individuals, families, and communities while adhering to ethical standards and promoting social justice. Emphasis is placed on ethical decision-making, client empowerment, policy advocacy, and professional responsibility. The course prepares students to recognize ethical dilemmas, analyze public policies, and engage in effective advocacy to address systemic barriers and protect the rights of vulnerable populations.
