LIT222 — Contemporary World Literature

3 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. This course will focus on non-Western, Post-World War II literary works in English, original or translated, representing Africa, Latin America, Middle East, Indian sub-continent, and the Pacific. Although this is a survey course, there will be a significant in-depth study of various world views, including an emphasis on post-colonial perspectives.
