MAS112L — Western Massage Therapy Lab

2 Cr. Per Week: 6 Lab In this laboratory course, students develop a foundation in the practice of contemporary Western massage. Students will learn essential techniques to perform a full-body wellness massage with a holistic perspective. Proper use of oils, massage tables, draping and bolstering methods will be introduced. Emphasis will be placed on the development of appropriate body mechanics, and the cultivation of palpation and communication skills. Restricted to MAS students.
