MAS116L — Kinesiology Lab

Per Week: 3 Lab In this laboratory course, students engage in extensive laboratory practice in palpation, goniometry, flexibility testing, manual muscle testing, PROM, basic special tests, and stretching of the human body. Students learn joint-specific arthrokinematics, capsular patterns, and resting positions, as well as basic postural deviations. The course organization parallels MAS 116 in that study of the specific regions of the body for both courses will be sequenced as follows: hip, knee, foot, ankle, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, and spine. Restricted to MAS students.
