MAS215 — Neurology

3 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. The human nervous system is studied as a major regulatory system of the body. This course examines the embryology of the spinal cord and brain, the development and significance of dermatomes and myotomes, as well as the structure and function of the nervous system, including the central nervous system (CNS), the peripheral nervous system (PNS), the autonomic nervous system (ANS), reflexes, spinal nerve plexi, and special senses. The correlation of signs and symptoms of common neurologic pathologies with typical structure and function will be explored.
