MED137 — Medical Assistant Externship I
3 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. The student will have the opportunity to study and observe the functioning of a private practice medical office/hospital office. The student will also participate in the functioning of the office and develop skills in the delivery of appropriate responsibilities. Total of 160 hours of work experience. Students will be required to complete 80 hours in administrative and 80 hours in clinical skills in their externship.
