MUS118 — Music History & Repertoire II

3 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. This course will explore the elements of music as they relate to musical styles, forms and composers from the Romantic, Impressionistic and Twentieth Century eras. Major historical events will be covered as they relate to and impact music of each period. Composers’ repertoire will be studied in depth. The ability to read music is ful. The course is required of music majors and recommended for non-majors with music experience.
