MUS175 — Applied Music Lessons I

1 Cr. Per Week: 1 Lec. This course is for first semester music students. Credit will be granted for the individual study of voice or instrument. Students will need to attend weekly 1-hour individual music lessons. Lessons will be scheduled the first week of the semester based on student and teacher availability. Primary topics with include history of the student’s instrument, musicianship, technique, performance practice, scales, arpeggios, and repertoire.
