3 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. This course will survey the concepts that form the basis for computer networking. Current models of data communication (OSI & TCP/IP models) will be used as the common thread to examine Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), network security, transmission techniques, wireless concepts, and communication architectures.
