NET230 — LAN Installation
3 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. This course will involve the steps taken in physically constructing a Local Area Network (LAN). Through the use of lectures and demonstrations, students will gain an in-depth knowledge of network components in order to interface computers to the network, design wiring schemes, research costs, and develop proposals for building a network. Topics covered within the course will prepare the student for the COMP/TIA Network+ exam.
