NUR115 — Practical Nursing Transition to RN

2 Cr. Per Week: 2 Lec. This course focuses on the areas needed to successfully enter the Registered Nurse program at the level of NUR 211. Additional scope of practice and professional issues will be fostered, advanced clinical skills will be demonstrated and successfully mastered. The concept of theoretical care planning will be introduced with the student achievement measured by the development of a complete theoretical plan. The concept of community health nursing will be introduced. (Restricted to NCCC Practical Nursing graduates.)
