Per Week: 2 Lab A practical study of the modern derivatives of early history fighting arts, and the evolution of martial arts from its roots in ancient Asian cultures to its present applications. Students will compare and contrast such martial arts styles as kung fu, karate and ju jitsu with their derivatives such as self-defense tactics and mixed martial arts. Brief lectures will be combined with physical hands on training and students will become proficient in the basic skills that are common to these styles. Click here for the Class Schedule
