SOC260 — Sociology of the Family

This course is a cross-cultural sociological analysis of the institution of the family with an emphasis on the new challenges to relationships in our rapidly-changing technological society. Topics include research on dating, marriage preparation, cohabitation, marriage adjustments, pregnancy and parenting, divorce, remarriage, life cycle changes and enrichment programs.
