TEC120 — Applied Engineering Mechanics

3 Cr. Per Week: 3 Lec. An applied science course involving a study of basic principles of mechanics and applications. Topics include forces, moments, resultants, equivalent force systems, couples, equilibrium, friction, centroids and center of gravity, moments of inertia, kinematics of particles and bodies, Newton’s Second Law, work/energy methods, and impulse momentum.
