THA211 — Acting for Animators & Filmmakers

3 Cr. Per Week: 2 Lec., 2 Lab This course will include study of the skills and sensibilities associated with communication through speech; the physical appearance and structure of the vocal articulators; the implementation of different movement techniques and their relationship to the development of a character; and the use of improvisation as a tool for creating and evaluating narrative structure. Practical experience is provided through participation in laboratory experiences and final performance projects. Open to non-majors.
