CHE - 200 Organic Chemistry I CHE - 200 Organic Chemistry I 4 Credit(s) Organic Chemistry I and II are second-year chemistry courses. Organic Chemistry I, CHE 200, is the first of two Organic Chemistry courses. Topics include: structure, bonding and reactivity in alkanes, alkenes and alkynes; stereochemistry; substitutions and eliminations of alkyl halides; and spectroscopy of IR and NMR. Laboratory work illustrates material learned in lectures and develops laboratory skills and techniques.
