DGL - 112 Typography DGL - 112 Typography 3 Credit(s) This studio course develops aesthetic, conceptual and technical skills for visual communication problems in which type is the primary element. Historical reference gives context to the critique of typographic solutions. Students will learn to relate the elements and principles of design to typography. Through a series of hands-on projects students will learn to identify and create letterforms, typographical emphasis, hierarchy, composition and illustration. DGL 102 may be taken concurrently.
