ELC - 150 Health, Safety and Environment ELC - 150 Health, Safety and Environment 4 Credit(s) Students will be introduced to regulations that address safety, health, and environment. Topics covered include government agencies and regulations, permitting, worker responsibilities in the workplace, hazard control and emergency response planning. Types of hazards covered will include chemical, physical, ergonomic, biological, and technological. Students will learn hazard reduction techniques including engineering and administrative controls, along with the proper use of personal protective equipment.
